Our Practice

The attorneys of Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C. provide a wide range of business services, offering clients expertise in many areas of law. The firm is organized into practice groups, including corporate, litigation, real estate, labor and employment, financial services, taxation, estate planning, health care and employee benefits. Getting to know the firm

The firm hosts several social events throughout the year providing the firm's lawyers and staff with relaxed, informal ways to meet outside the office. Events during the summer include the firm's annual dinner dance, professional sporting events and client entertainment. Venues for recent attorney/client events include Millennium Park, Ravinia, Arlington Park and Wrigley Field rooftops. Groups from the firm participate in many athletic and charitable events including road races and walks. The office closes for one day each summer for an "All Hands" golf outing followed by dinner and an awards ceremony. For two years running, the firm has entered a team in the Chicago River Flat Water Classic, a team canoe competition along a 7-mile stretch of the Chicago River, which includes paddling through downtown Chicago.

An associate tradition

Since the firm's founding, each calendar year concludes with a holiday party for attorneys and staff. The firm selects a different downtown Chicago eatery for each event. The highlight of the evening is an elaborate skit written and performed by firm associates, which lampoons the firm's partners and policies.
