Ms. Witt, a partner in the Firm’s Wealth & Succession Planning practice, focuses on estate planning and trusts and estates. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Witt served as Vice President and Trust Counsel at the Harris Trust & Savings Bank in Chicago.
Ms. Witt received her B.A., with high honors, from the University of Michigan and was awarded her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1991. She was also awarded a Masters of Law in Taxation from the DePaul University College of Law in 1993.
Ms. Witt received Martindale-Hubbell’s AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating, its highest rating for ethical standards and legal ability. She was also selected for inclusion in Martindale-Hubbell’s 2010 Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers.
