Richard W Burke

Mr. Burke’s practice embraces a broad range of business concerns. He offers counsel on the formation and general legal issues of business organizations; the purchase or sale of companies; public, private and governmental financing; representation of public entities; business succession plans; the representation of and regulatory concerns of financial institutions; employee benefits and compensation; real estate acquisition, development and divestiture; and formal and informal business reorganizations. He also offers extensive experience in both civil and white-collar criminal cases at the state and federal levels.

Mr. Burke is the Past President and a Director of Catholic Charities. He is also a member of and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of St. Mary of the Lake Seminary. He is a member of the Visiting Committee of the University of Chicago Law School.

Mr. Burke holds an A.B., with honors, from The University of Notre Dame and was awarded a J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School in 1958. He is a member of the Chicago and Illinois State (Member, Trial Practice, Corporation and Real Estate Sections) Bar Associations.
