Susan M. Horner is a partner and member of the Firm’s Litigation and Religious & Not-For-Profit Organizations practices. She joined the Firm in 2007 following a nine-year career as prosecutor with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office where she was employed upon completing law school.
Ms. Horner’s litigation experience includes more than 25 jury trials and hundreds of motions and bench trials. Ms. Horner has also handled numerous appellate matters and has argued before the Illinois Court of Appeals.
In addition to working with corporate and municipal clients, as a member of the Firm’s Religious & Not-For-Profit Organizations practice Ms. Horner is part of a dedicated group of attorneys who provide the unique legal services required by non-profit, religious, education, and social services organizations. Ms. Horner advocates for her clients in mediation, arbitration, administrative, pre-trial and trial proceedings. In addition, Ms. Horner has a significant appellate practice.
