Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C. seeks an associate with 2 to 5 years of broad corporate transactional experience to join its active and highly collaborative Corporate Group. Burke, Warren is an independent, full-service Chicago law firm with 70-plus attorneys representing clients locally, nationally, and worldwide.
The candidate should have strong transactional experience consistent with his/her level, including managing due diligence and drafting and negotiating corporate and transactional documents, which may include merger and acquisition agreements and/or related ancillary documents, LLC/shareholder agreements, loan agreements, and commercial agreements. Ideally, the candidate will also have experience advising clients on various general corporate matters. The candidate must be admitted to the Illinois Bar, have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school, and be an active member in good standing of the Illinois Bar.
