Nationally-recognized trial attorney joins prominent Chicago law firm

CHICAGO - January 16, 2020 - Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C., an independent, full-service Chicago law firm, is pleased to announce that Stephen H. Pugh, a nationally-recognized trial attorney, has joined the firm as a Shareholder. Mr. Pugh joins Burke, Warren from Pugh, Jones & Johnson, P.C., which Mr. Pugh co-founded more than 28 years ago, creating what became one of the largest minority-owned firms in the U.S.

Stephen Pugh is a legal veteran and award-winning attorney who has spent decades representing and guiding businesses, government entities, and educational institutions in a broad range of complex disputes, transactions, and internal and external corporate investigations. He has tried numerous jury and bench trials and also has an active appellate practice, having argued many cases before the United States Circuit Courts of Appeals and the Illinois Supreme Court. For the past 14 years, Mr. Pugh has earned recognition as a Leading Lawyer and an Illinois Super Lawyer by Leading Lawyers Network and Super Lawyers, respectively.
