Illinois Employers: Have You Fulfilled Your Mandatory Harassment Prevention Training Obligations For 2022?

|
Alert

The end of the year will be here before we know it. With so many other things on a company’s plate these days, it can be easy to let something like this slip through the cracks. The Illinois Workplace Transparency Act went into effect in 2020 and, among other things, it requires all employers to provide sexual harassment prevention training to all employees at least once per year.

In addition, employers within the City of Chicago are now required to provide an additional hour of bystander training to all employees and a third hour of harassment prevention training to supervisors by June 30, 2023.

Burke Warren has conducted over 100 virtual and in-person anti-harassment trainings over the past few years. For additional information on the training services the firm provides, please contact Burke Warren partner Rachel E. Bossard at 312-840-7029 or rbossard@burkelaw.com.
