Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and employment law, with specific expertise in litigation and client counseling. This role requires a deep understanding of both state and federal employment regulations and the ability to provide strategic advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle employment-related litigation, including defending against claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and before administrative agencies such as the EEOC, the DOL and the NLRB.
  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients on a broad range of labor and employment issues, including compliance with state and federal employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and Title VII, employee benefits and dispute resolution.
  • Assist clients in developing and implementing effective employment policies and procedures.
  • Conduct investigations of employment related complaints
  • Provide training and counseling to clients on a variety of employment-related topics, including best practices for managing employees, avoiding litigation, and handling sensitive workplace issues.
  • Stay current with labor and employment law changes and proactively advise clients on potential impacts to their business operations.


  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on litigation and counseling.
  • Proven track record of successfully handling employment-related litigation and administrative matters.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong client service orientation and ability to develop and maintain lasting client relationships.
