James A. Serritella Named Catholic Lawyer of the Year
James Serritella was named Catholic Lawyer of the Year by the Catholic Lawyers Guild of Chicago. Founded in 1934, the Guild works to provide legal services to charities and related organizations throughout the Chicago area, as well as provide fellowship and retreats for attorneys.
Mr. Serritella received the award following the 77th annual Red Mass at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago. The Red Mass, which is held worldwide, is used to mark the opening of the fall term for courts and has been a part of the Catholic Church since the year 1245.
