Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella recently promoted Elizabeth Pall, David Schoenherr and Brian Welch to partner.

Elizabeth Pall, a member of the Firm’s Litigation group, focuses her practice on labor and employment cases, including discrimination, harassment, negligent hiring, and wage and hour cases. Elizabeth also provides counseling and strategic advice to clients on labor and employment issues, including employment agreements and restrictive covenants. As an associate, Elizabeth gained valuable jury trial experience, and also argued before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

“I greatly respect the people I work with, both professionally and personally,” says Elizabeth. “I started my legal career at Burke, Warren and I am honored to have been promoted to partner.”

New partner David Schoenherr is a member of the Firm’s Corporate, Banking and Financial Services and Automotive Franchise groups. David has a broad understanding and appreciation for the complexities that a transaction may entail and enjoys working with clients who value his global analysis, detailed investigation and problem-solving when the situation calls for it. He advises clients through a comprehensive range of corporate and financial transactions for a variety of businesses.  David regularly prepares and negotiates wide ranging transactional documents including purchase and sale agreements, operating agreements, contribution agreements, and financing and security agreements. He serves clients in various industries, including pharmaceuticals, franchising, beverage distribution, real estate development, and professional and consulting services.

Brian Welch is a member of the Firm’s Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy and Litigation groups. His practice is primarily focused in the fields of bankruptcy, business reorganization, debtor’s and creditor’s rights, insolvency, and commercial litigation. Brian’s has represented a diverse group of clients including corporate and individual debtors in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 proceedings, secured and unsecured creditors, estate representatives such as Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 trustees, plan administrators and assignees for the benefit of creditors. Brian also has a wealth of experience in litigation of adversary proceedings and contested matters before bankruptcy courts throughout the country.
