Karen Kavanagh Mack focuses her practice in the areas of environmental law, land use, eminent domain, and real estate taxation. She was previously a partner at Deutsch, Levy & Engel in Chicago. Before entering private practice, Karen was a staff attorney and hearing officer for the Illinois Pollution Control Board.

Ray Fricke focuses his practice in municipal finance serving municipalities, airport authorities, hospital districts, state agencies, school districts and park districts serving as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, disclosure counsel, issuer’s counsel, bank counsel and borrower’s counsel. Prior to joining the firm, Ray was a partner in the Chicago office of Kutak Rock L.L.P. Prior to that, he practiced at Nixon Peabody and Katten Muchin.
