Burke Warren Partners Elizabeth Davis and Nicholas Gowen represented the Firm at the 2024 Annual General Meeting of Lawyers Associated Worldwide (LAW) held in Amsterdam from October 30 to November 3. The LAW Annual General Meeting, which brings together member attorneys, legal professionals, and firms from across the globe, provides a comprehensive exchange of trends in the law and strengthens collaboration between partner firms within their international network.

This year’s meeting equipped attendees with key updates to legal and compliance risks of generative artificial intelligence, change initiatives within the legal landscape to better service clients and retain top talent, prioritization of environmental, social, and corporate governance issues, and strengthening business and internal relationships in an expanding hybrid/remote work environment, among other topics.

Immediately following the LAW Annual General Meeting, Elizabeth participated in the LAW Executive Committee Strategic Retreat in her role as U.S. Representative of the Americas Region of LAW and Co-Chair of the LAW Recruiting Committee.
