On January 1, 2024, Burke Warren partner Blake Roter began serving on the National Commission of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). The National Commission is the primary deliberative body of the ADL, which serves as a significant voice offering insight, perspective and formal opinions to the ADL’s Board of Directors. Blake has served on the ADL’s Midwest Regional Board since 2016, serving in a variety of capacities, and currently serves as Chair of the Nominating Committee. Based upon that service, he was nominated to serve as a National Commissioner.

The Burke Warren family commends and congratulates Blake on this esteemed election to the National Commission and his continued dedication to the ADL. The ADL is a leading anti-hate organization that was founded in Chicago in 1913 in response to an escalating climate of antisemitism and bigotry. Today, the ADL is the first call when acts of antisemitism occur and continues to fight all forms of hate. A global leader in exposing extremism, delivering anti-bias education and fighting hate online, the ADL’s ultimate goal is a world in which no group or individual suffers from bias, discrimination or hate.
