Blake A. Roter is a partner at Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C. Blake is a trial and appellate attorney who handles complex commercial and insurance coverage litigation in state and federal courts throughout the United States. He represents Fortune 500 companies, public and private institutions, middle-market businesses and high net worth individuals.
Blake regularly counsels clients in all aspects of litigation from the initial factual investigation through mediation, arbitration and trial. He has represented clients in numerous types of disputes over breaches of contracts, warranties, and employment agreements, including non-competes, non-solicits, and confidentiality clauses, trade secret misappropriation, shareholder disputes, and business torts. Blake also works with insurance policyholders in disputes with their insurers for dilatory conduct, wrongful denial of coverage, insufficient provision of coverage and bad faith.
Prior to joining Burke Warren, Blake served as the law clerk for Chief Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Blake maintains an active pro bono practice and has served on numerous local and national non-profit boards and committees.
