Insurance Recovery Practice Group Co-Chairs Chris Kentra and Blake Roter to Present at NCEO 2026 Annual Employee Ownership Conference

Chris Kentra and Blake Roter, Co-Chairs of Burke Warren’s Insurance Recovery Practice Group, will present next week at the 2026 Annual Conference of the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The annual conference brings together leaders of employee-owned companies with experts and advisors – attorneys, accountants, consultants, trustees, and others – to discuss legal and corporate developments and strategies. This is the third consecutive year in which Chris and Blake will present at the NCEO Annual Conference.

On Wednesday, April 8 at 4:00 PM CT, Blake will serve as a featured panelist on the topic of “Risk Management in an Evolving Litigation Environment.” Blake will share updates concerning the risks of evolving ESOP litigation and discuss practical steps to prepare for risks before they arise. The panel will discuss real-world case studies to help attendees avoid pitfalls through thoughtful planning and preparation.

On Thursday, April 9 at 9:45 AM CT, Chris will serve as a featured panelist on the topic of “Addressing the Unique Insurance Needs of ESOPs – Fiduciary and Broader Risk Transfer.” In this session, Chris will share his experience with various insurance exposures, risk transfer issues, and proactive remedies at various stages of the ESOP lifecycle.
