Burke Warren is proud to announce that Partner Blake Roter has been named Co-Chair of the Firm’s Insurance Recovery Practice Group. Together with Group Co-Chair Chris Kentra, Blake has been instrumental in expanding the Firm’s experience and expertise to assist policyholders to enforce their insurance coverage rights.

The Group has represented policyholders in a wide array of coverage disputes from property damage and bodily injury claims under primary and excess commercial general liability and professional liability policies to directors and officers, employment practices and fiduciary liability coverage. The Group practices in state and federal courts nationwide on behalf of public and private companies, challenging insurance companies’ improper denials or limitations of coverage.

Blake was a summer associate at the Firm in 2011. He joined the Firm full-time in the fall of 2013, after serving as the law clerk for Chief Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Blake was elected a partner in 2020 and currently serves on the Firm’s Associate Mentoring Committee and the Business Development & Marketing Committee.
