Catherine McNamara is a Paralegal at Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C. Cathy is a member of the Firm's Real Estate group. She has 20 years of experience in real estate and corporate transactions.

Cathy has transactional experience in working with title companies, surveyors, lenders, governmental, city, state and county agencies in all aspects of closing commercial, industrial, mixed-use, vacant land, condominium, apartment complexes, residential, and joint venture transactions. She analyzes title commitments, surveys, due diligence materials, and municipal and county zoning and recording requirements. Cathy works closely with title companies, surveyors, and lenders to resolve title and survey issues and to complete the closing of acquisition and sale transactions. She prepares closing documents and coordinates all aspect of transactional closings.

Cathy also assists the Corporate Law group in corporate filings, forming and dissolving entities and non-for-profit organizations, preparing Operating Agreements, By-laws, minutes, and resolutions. She also supports all firm practice groups in real estate related matters.

Cathy’s industry experience is diverse. She has worked with privately held companies, publicly traded companies, development companies, hospitality companies, and local area real estate law firms. Cathy previously worked in the legal department for The Prime Group, Inc., Brookdale Living Communities, Inc., and Hyatt Corporation/Hyatt International Corporation.
