Adair Macauley is an Associate at Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C. Adair concentrates her practice in the areas of contracts, real estate transactions, condominium law . She regularly advises condominium and community associations on a wide range of operational and governance matters, including drafting and negotiating contracts, interpreting and amending governing documents, developing and enforcing rules and regulations, meeting procedures, and assessment collections.
Adair works closely with clients to provide practical guidance on day-to-day association operations and compliance with applicable law. She assists associations with reviewing vendor agreements, addressing owner disputes, and navigating issues involving building operations, maintenance responsibilities, and cost-sharing arrangements. Adair also regularly drafts, reviews, and negotiates commercial office and retail leases.
Drawing on her background in condominium and real estate matters, Adair is also experienced in resolving disputes involving the enforcement of governing documents, contract interpretation, and municipal code compliance. She takes great care to develop strong client relationships and ensures that clients remain informed and fully understand the issues affecting their communities and businesses.
While in law school, Adair served as an editor of the Journal for Women, Gender, and the Law and was Vice President of the Animal Law Society and Recruitment Chair for the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity.
