Christine Eduardo is an Associate in the Firm’s Litigation and Labor & Employment practice groups. She represents entrepreneurs, mid-market businesses, and governmental entities in a broad range of complex litigation matters.
Christine's commercial litigation work includes contract and shareholder disputes, business torts, fraud claims, post-covenant employment restrictions, and defense under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). Christine also defends employers in discrimination and retaliation matters before the EEOC and Illinois Department of Human Rights and serves as a Special Assistant Attorney General in eminent domain proceedings. Christine is also committed to pro bono service with experience in drafting appellate briefs on prisoners’ rights issues before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Prior to joining Burke Warren, Christine served as a legal intern at the U.S. Department of Labor in Chicago. She previously served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Diane Shelley of the Circuit Court of Cook County Law Division. During law school, she was a member of the Moot Court Honors Council and the Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law School Association. Christine was also an advanced student clinician and research assistant for the UIC Law Veterans Legal Clinic.
